  1. Design, develop and deploy programs for programs specifications
  2. Construct and implement application programs
  3. Construct/ develop programs including coding, testing and debugging
  4. Ensure documentation of code/classes
  5. Designing application prototypes
  6. Coordinate application plans with the development team or clients
  7. Adhere to WCG Software development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes
  8. Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions that meet the Department’s needs and optimize efficacy through training and support


Skills


  1. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or related technical certification in an IT field
  2. Minimum of 7 years’ experience as an application developer working with:
  3. JavaScript & JQuery
  4. HTML 5 and CSS
  5. Oracle PL/SQL and/or APEX
  6. Oracle Database and stored procedures
  7. Proficient in Source Code Management applications
